Custom Troop is a mod that adds the option to customize the equipment, rename and change the gender of your troop tree. You can now also recruit a custom unit and train it using the influence system.

You can customize the equipment of your troop tree by choosing from a list of items that you can equip to your troops. You can also change the name and gender of your troop tree.

To recruit a custom unit, you need to select a unit type and then select a hero or companion to train it. You can train the selected unit by giving it orders or using the influence system. The training will increase the skill and strength of the hero or companion and you will gain experience and gold when the unit is trained.

You can also transfer a troop tree from one campaign to another. This is done by creating a copy of the file that you want to transfer and then renaming it to the current campaign.xml file.
